Is there a scientific explanation for that? Like are there any events or triggers aside from this explanation from vorarephile.com?
| Quote: | Why do some people find this stuff sexually arousing? Good question, and one that can likely only be answered with years of therapy Vorarephilia is a very strange fetish, but when one thinks about it, the triggers for this kind of fetish in one's life are fairly abundant. Some vorarephiles want to go back to the womb, quite literally - taking regular intercourse, and extrapolating it to involve going inside your partner completely. (This is usually called "genital vore," and can involve male or female genitals.) Many mothers play with their children when they are very young, teasing that they are so cute that they could just "eat them up," sometimes actually putting the baby's feet or hands in the mother's mouth. Many mammal species bite or suck during mating or the early stages of mothering, and we are mammals after all. Most likely, vorarephilia is just a very intense oral fixation (a la Freud), acted out in an elaborate fantasy life. |
The one in bold happened to me. I remember my mom used to put me in the swimming pool and pretend she's a "shark" and I'm her food. And I kinda remember a strong fixation and interest to my mother's mouth when I was a child. Like I'd like to stare at it and put my hands in it.
But is there any other reason beside that?
Is vorarephilia and macrophilia hereditary?

Hmmm this is interesting. See i have a fetish for furry feet and what turns me onto Macrophilia is the fantasy of being stomped flat by those beautiful footpaws. Now i dont quite remember anything happening in my childhood that got me hooked on giant furs and their feet, nor do i think i inherited it. I think that it just happens and you discover it.

I don't have a fetish with macrophilia, paws or vore but, ever being curious about most things, I think I remember reading something about paws and macrophilia and how some people find it a fetish. I think the paw fetish can come from the human foot; part of the body releases a scent that is a sexual stimulant. Macrophilia I am not as sure but I think it leads back to being a child, being small and being nurtured by their parents or wanting to feel dominated. I am not exactly sure but I that am what I remember and seem fairly reasonable.

You can't have any therapy!
Sorry man, it'd just seriously disturb the delicate balance of the amount of humour in my daily bookmark checking. (Yay for McAllah (is great!)
But anyway, for this pressing question, I have interviewed an expert on what causes such evil things. And as you can clearly see, Furry Macrophilia is the work of the devil.

Although I'm not a vore fav that's a pretty intresting article, and I guess it makes sense. As for macrophilia, my intrest in the subject came around when I first started browsing though Gideon's galleries. I just found his female characters to be better than a lot of women because they were different than your average woman. I've always liked the idea of a big strong woman who can take care of things herself and is not afraid of picking up a dead mouse. Then for some odd reason I started taking a liking to macro dragoness herms; I've stil got to figure that one out.

| I really don't think it matter but.... for some maybe when they were younger they were short or tall and so they either liked being tall or they wanted to be taller and so during puberty and such becomes a fetish. Thats just a guess though. Not so sure about the other stuff like microphilia and such but then again how can you not like it when people make good art and stories about it(I'm such a suck up). Anyway does it really matter? Besides curiousity I don't think its very important. Thats like asking why do we exist, what does it matter I mean we do exist and people here do like this stuff so unless you're out to change it then I just can't see the usefulness of asking such questions. Of course I'm really curious about everything so....Well anyway thinking about this is giving me a headache. I have to stop breaking into rants.... and consecutive rhetorical questions.

| I know I've questioned my interests as well and as we can see here some of the explainations can get pretty involved. I've never found any answer that satisified me! However for myself I've found it better to except and enjoy! Its much more pleasant and I find myself very satisfied!
