Iridium hyena

Postby Moonstalker » Tue Feb 22, 2005 3:35 pm

Here's a cute and endearing quick sketch of Iridium in her hyena form that I did in an attempt to work through a bit of a slump. Enjoy.

The face is good, but the hand (especially the finger) needs improvement.
The coloring is done without shadows, thus details are hard to "read". E.g. the position of his hands is a mistery at first glance.

I apologize in advance. I mean, I like the community here and the fact that people always try to encourage young artists (e.g. like myself) regardless of the actual quality of their picture. And I always leave merry comments too, because I appreciate the artists' work.

Yet, you are drawing skilfully, so I just thought that instead of "you are doing a good job" I would leave a paragraph of positive criticism. :wink:, for one paragraph of "bad things" you've already got 2 full of apology.

wow... an amazing pic of the metalically monikered wuff in 'yena form. and such a cute pose and expression too. bet she's turned away many a military attack by doing that huh?

The art is really good...but If you look at it right...it almost seems like the hand is coming out from some boobies rather then the intended hand over the arm muscles...

Art can be hilarious sometimes ^_^;

Hey, no problem at all. While I do appreciate all the comments I get, it is very nice to hear actual feedback about the things I do. Thanks for the polite critique.
