Huh ... not the solution I would have come up with. But apparently it's working.

She must be Granny. Who else would wear Granny's house? That's just basic logic. ;)

But what I really want to know is, what in those woods is unexpectedly carnivorous AND fears lemons? Whatever it is, I want to stay far, far away from it.

This page took WAY longer than it should have. Not because it was difficult, because works been crazy. XP

Anyway, finally page 13 and by the final panel the fourth wall is COMPLETELY busted...

That's a wrap everyone, take an hour then get back to the set...

Why am I suddenly reminded of the Fractured Fairy Tales segments from Rocky & Bullwinkle? Oh yes, because I'm slow and finally catching up. :) I'm also reminded of the cartoon where the watchdog and wolf are perfectly friendly until they clock in and start abusing each other, then stop mid-punch when the whistle blows at five...

you're definitely on the right path there. Obviously there's some silly cartoon influence at work here.

Though actually the things that influenced me the most with this are actually odd sources...

The first is a comic series called Grimm Fairy Tales, which are primarily modernized retellings of fairy tales with some t and a.

So reading that reminded me of some of my favorites and of course got me thinking, I could do that...

And the cartoon influence is actually mostly from one of my favorite animes of all time called Pani Poni Dash which is a hilarious hodgepodge of goofy jokes, anime parodies and clever stories. I highly recommend it to any who haven't seen it.

But of course I did grow up seeing fractured fairy tales and all those other cartoons like that so, I'm sure they're playing their own influence in their own way. :)

Intermission time...

Time for some (more) silliness...

And a reminder of Jerry, yep she's still there...

And she'll get that cooler outfit someday. :P

That last page was just an excuse for bunny booty!

I approve.

Actually the last page wasn't ENTIRELY an excuse for bunny booty... though I do think more images of those adorable little poofy tails are needed... ;)

It also reminded us Jerry the 'hunter' is still around, and we'll be seeing her again soon, especially since little red Kali is starting to notice some odd things about granny...

You know, aside from the fact she's suddenly a 100 ft tall black panth-- wolf... that right... big bad wolf... ;)

Sheesh. Touchy much? Red was only commenting on those easily confusable facial features there. I'm sure none of her other comments weren't going to be anything about the Wo-Granny's waistline ;)

Though her cheeks did appear to be pugging a little bit so maybe... ;)
