Thanks both, glad you like it so far, should have the third, and final, piece posted tonight.
Now for questions, cat tail flicking... It varies, it's in the motion and how quickly they do it. If they're angry it tends to be a hard flop from side to side, like they're pounding the ground, at least that's how our cats do it.
when they're interested in hunting something usually they'll make a little clicking sound and occasionally their tail will flick almost like a rattle snake. Again, that's how ours act at least, don't know about everyone elses.
what is Aryanna, well, she's actually a succubus. She's a demon with a semi-tiger striped pattern with horns and wings. I'd post links to other pictures for a better view but don't have that option from the phone. XP
and finally drawing style, I think I know what you're getting at. I don't necessarily aim to make things minimal but when I'm drawing I focus on what's important for the story and the scene. Usually that's the character and how they feel at the moment, so I focus on them. Sometimes background is needed, but not always. I'd rather have a 'simple' easy to view frame than something that's cluttered and over-complex just for the sake of a little background.
I could continue but hopefully that explains the basics of what you were thinking. If not then I wouldn't mind going further.
