Macrokat: A good "what if" can be a lot of fun. I used to love Marvel's What If...? line, and DC's Elseworlds. It lets you play around with characters you love in a different way, without messing them up in main continuity.

joshimus: I wouldn't worry too much; Tia's tough. Kat only beat her so bad in the sim because... well... she's Kat, and took five levels in badass early on. :) It'll probably be a tense fight, especially if the skunk takes her by surprise, but Tia won't go down easily.

Kaelic: Then we'd have the skunk show up and throw the scuzzball down a reactor shaft, and she hasn't even revealed that she's Tia's mother yet... okay, I'll stop now.
Sometimes I wrestle with my demons... and sometimes we just snuggle.

The only thing I draw well is a blank.

That sleezeball is probably, in the back of his mind, really looking forward to a macro cat fight.

Where's a giant puddle of mud when you need it, right?

I get the subtle feeling there's a small amount of "Take That" directed against people who are into Crush here O.O
Is it because I is British?

No, not really. I don't have anything against that. But, this story is set in a world where Macro and Micro coexist, and to do that, obviously there are laws. It's only commonsense to think that stomping someone, would be against the law, especially when someone's doing it repeatedly just to make snuff films. Of course Tia herself is now skating that line.

 The mudwrestling joke's great. That would be hilarious.

yeah, that quote has nothing to do with the strip, I was referring to this:

This strip is pretty straight forward, before Tia can stomp the creep, his accomplice Tina, the skunk who's actually been doing the stomping in exchange for drugs to feed her habit wakes up and finds Tia towering over him. Junky can get pretty upset when you're about to kill their supplier. ;)

...or when you're, you know, trying to convict them for serial murder. Same difference, really.

Yup, that's about how I figured junkie-Tina would react. :) I love how casual Tia is about blocking her first claw strike. It's sort of an "I really don't have time to beat your skull in right now" attitude. Hopefully she's not going to be overconfident in this fight...

Of course, the sleazebag is probably halfway to Oswego already. Unless he's dumb enough to stand around cheering on his junkie... Nah. She's a tool to be used and discarded. Or, in this case, left to take the jail time for crimes he orchestrated.

Hm. Interesting thought I just had: sleazebag running through alley away from the macro beatdown. Head explodes, sound of gunshot. Cut to Kat lowering a sniper rifle from far away. Again, nah... but fun to think. :)
