Something fun

Postby macrokat » Sat May 15, 2010 4:49 am

Felt like drawing some fun pictures to break up the seriousness of 3M.
Figured some people here might enjoy seeing Tia and Godzilla together, so I decided he would be a good attitude coach for her.
And for fun, Tia dancing her way through the city, may color these pics. at some point, for now just posting so everyone can enjoy.

p.s. my first attempt at drawing Godzilla, so hopefully it's decent. It was hard to get that picture right, since there's no exact size for Godzilla, Wikipedia said anywhere from 150 to 328 ft, that's a pretty big margin for error, hardly definitive. But obviously, at 60 ft. Tia is quite a bit smaller, so at least that part's right.

I can guess why Godzilla looks so confused

Still... in which Movie did Godzilla became a dancing coach? Seem to have missed that one

I thoought he had more of a confused/dissappointed father figure look to him.
Here's the master of macro badness trying to teach the macro rampaging attitude to a "little" girl who's all sunshine and smiles, etc. Least, that's what I was going for.

You know, it was that one where he moved to a new country and took up residence in the inner city. He was having trouble adjusting to Urban life and discovered a way to cope in dance. Soon he found a sassy partner and their mixture of western and eastern dancing styles was set to make a revolution in what everyone around them considered dancing. Now What was REALLY interesting about this one was that Godzilla and his partner actually LOST the big dance off, so at the end they just leveled the city instead.

Pretty standard dance movie really, except for the city levelling part.

No, not really. That's usually how most dancing movies go.

Now in Color!

Postby macrokat » Mon May 17, 2010 3:56 am

Said I'd probably color it, so I did. Might've gone a liiittle overboard with the urban stuff, but that's how I originally pictured the image, so I'm pretty happy with it.

going overboard is never a bad thing...usually. Here, it's definitely well-executed. It looks like something you'd find on a cultural music T-shirt.
