Upsizing an M1A3 does not a new bigger tank make!

Blame the army, it was their idea.
And General Dynamics, for building it.

If you wanted something original, here it is.

The American WWII super-heavy tank destroyer, designated the T28. It had the new 105 mm T5E1 gun and four sets of tracks to support it's one foot thick steel plate armor. The thing only went 8mph, but that was because it was given an underpowered little V-8 gas engine. The cannon was specialy designed as a tank killer and reached muzzle velocities of around 3,700fps.

Only 2 were made and neither saw combat but Hitler would have shit himself if he saw that thing rolling down the road, knocking out Tigers left and right.

I would post the pics but their too big so just go to Wikipedia and search 'T28 tank'.

Also search 'Panzer VIII Maus', the German counterpart.
