Comic preview...

Postby MacroRapper » Wed Jun 07, 2006 4:47 am

This comic is about a guy named Gunther Kaiser, a teenage cat that suffers from severe amnesia.

He doesn't know where he's from, nor does he know why he gets these horrible flashes of him in pain and fear.

To probably very few of you, Gunther's face will seem familiar. For those who wonder, you'll find out soon enough. But first, here's the first comic's cover (not very detailed), when Gunther ends up at a place called Mic-Norm-Mac Preparatory University for grades 7-college.

Hmm... art styles similar to mine. Few things I'd touch up.
A: whats he stepping on? A rock?
B: Give him a muzzle, didn't really see one.
C: Maybe... shorten his head vertically (sp)
D: Get rid of the muscles, they look really strange...

((See, now everythings cool between us ))
Sometimes I wonder why I wake up, then I remember, it's because I'm alive.

about his muscles, that's the mystery... he doesn't know how he got them. And they play a big role in the story.

The muzzle, not my style of anime. The only kind of characters I put muzzles on are wolves, dogs, foxes, lizards/dragons, kittoras, rabbits, and squirrels.

His head, well, he just really has thick hair. As he usually does.

The rock part, well, that's up to the reader or viewer, ya see I did intend for it to be a rock, but now that you brought it up, it could be a bulge in the ground or the school floor, it's basically anything you want it to be, kinda like inkblot paintings they use in therapy.

Am I the only person who thinks the comic synopsis here is almost exactly that of "Crux's Tale"?

well, could be Cougr, but think about it...as example, how many pokemon-like shows we got all around ? Monster rancher, digimon, dragon drive...all of them talking about monster taming, but all of them showing different storylines, lets give him a chance :) plus his style looks interesting, I'd like to see what he can do and how he'll improve with the time ^^
feed me I say !........or just eat me <.<

yeah, I'm a vore freak ^_^;

well, cougr, I just read a message from Lupinefox, he said it seemed like that, too. But I'll tell you as I told him, this is actually based on several stories including X-Men. I wanted to see if this spin-off, could explain a little bit why my character (unknown) has mood swings, superhuman strength, and the name "GUN". But yes, I guess I kinda did Crux's idea, but I tried to have more different elements go into the comic.

Besides...networks, big-ass companies, and normal people make spin-offs everyday, but to me, it's a bad habit, I try to spinoff on everything, particuraly video-games.
