Anything over 9 feet is inhuman, so I say the first option.

Usually most macro's drawn or written about are over the one hundred mark so i usually picture them as that, but i guess that being two times as tall as someone would count you as a macro.

You've got to remember that normal humans tend to exsadgeurate things slightly bigger then them to be Giants. An ordinary 5'8 person next to a 6'2 would make the 6'2 person a giant to those who want to make it sound interesting.

In my opinon, Any person who tall enough that other people are about the center of their chest is Macro...In the polls that would make it 9ft...But if the person happened to be quite slender...then people would find him just as giant being 12ft which is double size!
All the other people in this discussion tend to think higher then 20ft because they're still thinking of 'Standard' Macro sizes and not the minimum sizes.

I think that if we were being realistic, 9ft would be the min. Macro height...if we were going to Macro-realistic stories where theres someone who big but not super massive...then 12ft would be a better bet.

I'll vote 9ft just for realism ;)

Macro is 20 feet for me, after seeing these choices, 9 is a freak with a broken petuitary gland, and 12 is a speck (now being compared to the macro world).

To tell you the truth you dont have to be any larger than 4 feet to be a giant(youd know this if youve seen the episode of the goodies beanstalk or somthing)anyway its bloodline that makes you a giant not your height, such as dwarfs & midgets there small humans and we dont call them a diffrent race, do we?

Well I agree with many here that 20' is a nice start. But this would be a minimum because I have to figure in the crush and rampage ratio!

I didn't really vote on this one, because I don't think any of the answers in the polls really make for a true macro. As I feel this poll means to ask.

Around 50ft I think is the lower limit.

Anything below that is fun in its own way. (And I make alot of use of chars in size ranges like 10', 12' and the like on Taps) And sure.. you could call it giant. (But you can call someone who is 6'7 or so a 'giant' too!) But its not really MACRO per se.
~I'm nice enough... I'm just honest as well.~

It's been stated before, but simply, Anywhere between 4 and 8 feet is normal, between 8 and 20 feet is really just big, and above that is the absolutely grand range of size we call Macro.

I found this question very interesting.

In my opinion, it's Macro when the size difference is 4 times, which means the smaller person's head is at the height of the bigger one's knees. The reason is, this difference is unusual large and rarely seen between humans, and the power of the bigger over the small is nearly total.
