I envy you guys because even though I can download Second Life I cannot play it because my internet is run by the university and they have blocked the ports. I really like these pictures, they are really good.

This is a game! Damn I can't believe I'm wasting my time playing Doom 3 and F.E.A.R.

So do these macro ladies do any stomping in this game or what?

Being quite gullible, I hope you are no joking. ^^ The game is called Second Life; it is where people can create their own character and live this life in this fantasy world. The worlds and avatars can all be created.

As far as I know it's more like a chat on steroids. Theres not a hell lot of gameplay in this "game".

I tried once get on of those free basic accounts, but the registration process is so annoying, I gave up half way through.

Firstly, I can't install the software. Secondly, I can't sign up. (i.e. creditcard approval wich I don't have).

But it looks great though... :D

I've had a few people mention that thing to me. One was someone that seemed to only message me to start arguments, that time over the fact that I was referring to it as a "game" and "chat program" after reading about it, which I guess was very, very awful of me.

When I read further about it, they don't really seem to allow you to use any real modelling tools, as I didn't see any support for various 3D model formats that the major programs use. A lot of the characters I've seen look like many of the body parts were made out of just stacking 3D balls into eachother to make a crude shape, which made me kind of unsure about the kind of tools they offer in it as well.

Otherwise it might have been interesting to make a cool avatar to run around with. :(
