And unfortunately, he's left us. I've emailed him to see what's wrong. Maybe I can help a bit.

They look like they were made with Premir and a bunch of still images. I mean noting aginst the guy, I'm sure he worked really hard on them. I know i could never do animation of any style. But i just think they look funny in a sort of Pre-Flash animation way.

The DemonWorks Studios will be shut down at September 30.

If you still would like to download and get something: Now is your last chance.

Heyas

I have no other site planned at the moment.
And to both make space free on LD5 and since I won't maintain mine any more, I shut it down.
I really lost any sort of interest in this place by now.

My E-Mail will stay here, though. You are always welcome to use it.
By the way: A friend showed me your entry at macrophile.com
Thanks for your words. :)

I had a little chat with him. He told me, in brief, that the asshole ratio in the macrophile community, and in specific hubs of that community, had gotten too high for him and had sort of put a bad taste in his mouth.

I suggest not badgering him. It'll only make that taste worse.

Wheee. I suppose it happens in all communities, but we've got some real ringers around here. Maybe the Macro community is afflicted with Macro Assholes.

Hopefully he'll find a nice place to continue to do what he enjoys. It's really sad when I see some folks harrasing an artist out of wanting to do their work over their own biased opinions.

But a lot like Something Awful and such, assholes will happen on the internet. I'm not even an artist and there are folks out there whom I have never met who love to vilify me. I try very hard to be open to everyone, myself, but I know that in the long run I can never please everyone.

It can tire you out, though. There's been many a good person who's left the fandom because of it. I guess that's just how things are.
