If anyone else who reads that find it funny that not only do they have a cockroach playing a mad doctor/scientist type in the film (perhaps a homage to Kagemushi?) but that he is being voiced by that of that of Dr. House (Hugh Laurie)?

I find it a little more amusing that Keifer Sutherland's General W.R. Monger, and Stephen Colbert plays the president.

I fully expect him to milk it for all its worth.
It is a glorious thing, a thing to be a pirate king.

YES

Looks like it could be hella fun, and the style reminds me a bit of the Incredibles.

Oh dear. That means it will most likely be made of AIDS. Enjoy

The latter is really the only reason I'd consider renting it. The former? The former, I could care less about. If Hollywood is reaching into the furry community for character concepts and ideas than we've gone around the fucking bend and humanity as a whole needs to have the living piss beat out of 'em.

...Or you know, it could be a coincidence. Like most things are in this world. Call me crazy.

Holy damn, there really is a God, and he IS listening to me bitch about the world needing more Colbert.

I'm sort of with MasterNightBlade on this. Dreamworks has been some what of a poor man's Pixar. I mean, outside of the Shrek series (which has been watered down, I admit, by the third film and yet, there are two more movies, a Halloween Special AND a Puss and Boots spinoff on the way...seriously, they're getting as bad as Disney.), not many of their other CGI features had been quite as good as Pixar's (though, Pixar was the pioneering force in the CGI field, but still), not to mention it made very VERY similiar films at times

Antz (DW) and Bug's Life (Pixar) were released around the same time, as was Finding Nemo (Pixar) and Shark Tale (DW) only a year apart from one another. I maybe stretching things here, but still...

Now, I'm not saying Pixar is infallible or Dreamworks is entirely bad. I just feel a bit wary...thats all.

As for Stephen Colbert as the President

THAT is full of win :3 So yay for Phil Ken Sebben/Reducto for President :3
